General English course (Online)

General English courses are designed to help students make rapid progress in English, and focus on the four key language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking – with lots of additional work on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

Lessons for adults focus on range and accuracy of vocabulary, effective use of grammar and natural self-expression in English. With a focus on the 4 skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, the General English Course allows adult learners to improve their English skills in a supportive environment.

We have classes for 8 different levels:

A0 (Beginner)
A1 (Elementary)
A2 (Pre-Intermediate)
B1 (Intermediate)
B2 (Upper Intermediate)
B2E (Upper Intermediate exam class)
C1 (Advanced)
C2 (Proficiency)

This course is designed for students who want to improve their English skills.We don't use Armenian during the classes. Before starting the course students have to pass a test. The first class is free of charge.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Reading - to be able to read and understand language and descriptions of topics from a variety of texts.
   2.Writing - to be able to write describing impressions, feelings and experiences and to write about familiar topics.
2. Listening - to be able to understand familiar topics and be able to understand speech on a variety of subjects such as work, school,
   leisure and the main points when listening to current affairs.
3. Speaking - to be able to talk about familiar topics and to give explanations and reasons for opinions, past actions and future plans. Also to recount the story of a book or film and deal with most situations in an English speaking environment.
4. Grammar - to be able understand and apply the body of rules surrounding English grammar in everyday contexts, including the use of nouns, adjectives, verbs, prepositions, tenses, sentence
   structure and phrases.

Upon completion of the course students should be able to communicate with a greater understanding of the English language structure, including: grammar points, English sounds and intonation
patterns, reading skills, writing fluency and
conversation skills.

Lesson hours (1 hour/3x per week) or (1hour/2x per week).

Fee - (1h/3x per week/12 classes in general - 35 000 AMD) -(1h/2x per week/8 classes in general) -30 000 AMD) per person.

(1h/3x per week- 12 classes in general -30 000 AMD per person)
(1hr/3x per week - 8 classes in general - 25 000 AMD per person)
